The ACBVA Technology and Training Fund maintains a roster of qualified trainers and technical support professionals who may provide services to fund recipients. Customers select their own trainer or technical support provider from the approved roster. Approved providers operate as independent contractors and are not employees of ACBVA.
Before You Apply
To ensure quality services, all prospective trainers and technical support providers must complete an application, participate in a brief interview, provide three professional references, and successfully complete the reference verification process.
Services Needed by Customers
Technology Training, Device Setup, Technical Support, and Accessibility Liaison Services.
Service Delivery
Most services will be provided remotely using telephone, Zoom, or remote assistance tools. In-person services may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation
Approved providers may be reimbursed up to $50 per hour. Providers may also choose to volunteer their services.

Approved providers are independent contractors and are not employees of ACBVA.
Reporting Requirements
Providers must submit invoices and brief progress updates to receive payment.
Interview and Reference Check
All applicants must complete an interview and reference verification process, including three professional references, before being added to the approved roster.
